Pax Catholic Communications Announces its Radio Programming Partnership with EWTN

Listen to audio of Archbishop Wenski making this announcement on Radio Paz:   Miami�Pax Catholic Communications, the radio ministry of the Archdiocese of Miami, has announced its newly-created programming partnership with internationally-known Eternal Word Television Network, beginning Monday, January 3, 2011.

With this partnership, Spanish listeners of Radio Paz on 830 AM will now also enjoy EWTN�s �Radio Catolica Mundial� along with the station�s local programming. Archbishop Thomas Wenski stated �this agreement provides our faithful listeners with quality local and national productions to deliver and preach the Good News of Jesus Christ.�

Father Roberto Cid, President of Pax Catholic Communications states �for over twenty years the Archdiocese of Miami has had the vision and the perseverance to bring the Word of God to the airwaves through Radio Paz.� Now we have the capacity of enhancing our Catholic identity in the South Florida community while incorporating new technologies and optimizing our resources� added Fr. Cid.

With this updated broadcast schedule with EWTN comes a reorganization of Pax Catholic Communication�s departments and responsibilities which enables Radio Paz to reduce its production costs while maintaining quality programming for our Spanish-speaking listeners.
