El retiro de Emaús permite a los participantes tomarse un descanso de sus actividades cotidianas, dedicando un tiempo a sí mismos, dando una oportunidad especial para un crecimiento espiritual, al entablar una relación con Dios, ofreciéndote tiempo para reflexionar y un espacio para acercarte a Jesús en tu búsqueda y encuentro con él.

El retiro te guía a través de una serie de experiencias personales relacionadas con la vida espiritual, emocional, y de relaciones interpersonales presentadas por un grupo de laicos, que te ayudarán a salir con un sentido renovado de prioridades y propósitos.

At MAGNIFY: I AM HERS, you will join women from across South Florida and beyond as we gather beneath the mantle of the Blessed Mother to encounter Jesus, deepen our faith, and discover the beauty of belonging to Mary. 

Returning for its second year after a sold-out inaugural Catholic Women's conference, this powerful day of renewal will inspire women to embrace their identity as beloved daughters of God and learn from the woman who perfectly magnified the Lord. 

The day will include:

Keynote Talks: Be inspired by nationally recognized Catholic speaker and evangelist Mari Pablo and Maria Vadia as they share powerful insights on discipleship, identity, and what it means to follow Christ with courage, trust, and joy. Through Mary's example, discover how God is calling you deeper into His love and purpose for your life.

Worship:  Encounter the presence of God through Spirit-filled worship that opens the heart to prayer, healing, and a deeper awareness of His love.

Prayer Experiences:  Pray alongside your sisters in Christ through guided prayer, personal reflection, and opportunities to encounter God's grace. Experience moments of renewal, healing, and deeper intimacy with the Lord through the loving intercession of Our Lady.

Breakout Sessions: Choose from practical and inspiring sessions led by faithful Catholic women who will offer wisdom, encouragement, and tools for living a vibrant life of faith in today's world.​

Siervos de Cristo Vivo Retreat House: 3100 NW 77th Ct, Doral, FL 33122 (Transportation will be provided from the Church to the Retreat House.)

Ends: Sunday, Sept 20, 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM (Transportation will be provided from the Retreat House to the Church. Please remind your family members to pick you up.)

It is a great joy for us, the men of this Good Shepherd parish family and for all of us who have experienced the Emmaus retreat, to have you join us on Friday, September 18, 2026, to begin this wonderful weekend of faith, renewal, and spiritual growth.

Below are some details that will help you have a distraction-free weekend:The retreat will take place at the Siervos de Jesucristo Vivo Retreat House; however, before departing, we will have the "Being Sent" ceremony at the Good Shepherd Chapel at 6:00 PM.Transportation will be provided from the church to the retreat house, so it will not be necessary to bring your car.Invite your friends and family to the closing mass at 9:00 AM at Good Shepherd on Sunday, Sept 20.

We will contact each of you before the weekend to cover all the details. On Friday night, when you come to the "Being Sent" ceremony, you must personally bring your suitcase into the chapel.Bring comfortable clothing for the weekend. A sweater is recommended, as the retreat house is quite cold at night.Bring your personal hygiene items.This weekend is to be spent in prayer with the Lord and in brotherhood with other men in the community.

The Emmaus retreat guides you through a series of reflections given by laypersons, focusing on all aspects of life -spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational.  

You will come away a renewed sense of priorities and values.  

What is an Emmaus Retreat for Men? It is a spiritual retreat put on by the men of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church allowing you time for spiritual growth.


Is this another one of those programs for saints? Not at all, it is a relaxed weekend where you will have a chance to bond with others by sharing life's experiences.


What happens during the weekend? You will hear talks given by different men from the parish. No lectures. No assignments. Each speaker will be sharing his life in a personal way.


Why join us at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church? You will have the chance to discover a new relationship with God. You will have the chance to make at least 30 new friends”¦ very close ones.
