Carmel of Elijah, OCDS Community
The Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites is a community of practicing members of the Catholic Church who, under the protection of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, in the biblical tradition of the prophet Elijah, and inspired by the teachings of St. Teresa of Jesus and St. John of the Cross, desire to grow in a life of Spirituality in union with God through a contemplative prayer life.
