Archdiocese announces in-classroom re-opening of Pre-K programs

MIAMI | Below is the letter sent by the archdiocese to Catholic school parents regarding the in-person reopening of Pre-K programs. The letter was sent the evening of Aug. 5, 2020. Click on the image to read and download.

In response to the question about the Basilica school re-opening, that is due to the fact that Monroe County has moved to Phase 2. Miami-Dade and Broward counties remain in Phase 1. That's according to the state of Florida: https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/plan-for-floridas-recovery/ - Here's the pertinent quote from that site: "Phase 2 of the Plan for Florida’s Recovery took effect June 5, 2020 for all Florida counties except Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach."

Why is the Key West basilica catholic school opening full time to students on Aug. 19th? Aren't they under the archdiocese administration?
