Cheers to Charity celebrates 14th year

The annual gathering at Joe’s Stone Crab has raised more than $255,000 this year

MIAMI | More than 450 parishioners, clergy and staff joined Archbishop Thomas Wenski, April 29, 2025, at the iconic Joe's Stone Crab for good food, good fun and a good cause; support the charitable work of the Archdiocese of Miami.

Cheers to Charity raised more than $255,000 this year. This annual event is celebrating its 14th anniversary, and since its inception in 2012, it has raised more than $1 million for the charitable works of the archdiocese, which serve those most in need.

“Cheers to Charity at Joe’s Stone Crab is one of the most anticipated annual fundraisers of the Archdiocese of Miami.  It is a wonderful opportunity for the Catholic community to gather in fellowship while also raising much-needed funds to support the charitable work of the archdiocese. With a sold-out crowd yet again, we are truly grateful for the continued support of our donors, attendees and the Joe’s Stone Crab team!” said Katie Blanco Bourdeau, president of the archdiocese’s Development Corporation.
