Centro Mater Foundation posted this on their Instagram account after the April 23, 2020 distribution of 1,000 baby food items to the families they serve. The distribution was a team effort between Catholic Charities, which provided two pallets of baby food; Centro Mater; and its sponsoring agency, Catholic Health Services. MIAMI | Catholic Charities teamed up with local partners April 23, 2020 to provide baby food, diapers and other items to needy families in Miami.
Catholic Charities contributed the baby food. The partners included The Children's Trust, the Miami Diaper Bank and Curley's House Food Bank.
A portion of the baby food obtained by Catholic Charities also was distributed to families that attend Centro Mater's child care facilities. Centro Mater is part of Catholic Health Services .
