MIAMI | Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep defeated Miami Country Day 28-0 at the Oct. 10 homecoming game.
After a slow start, the Knights offense was ignited by a 45-yard TD pass from junior John Loyer to junior captain Bryan Pierre. Pierre led the Knights with 132 yards rushing. Also contributing offensively were sophomore Eudens Antoine with a 1-yard TD run, John Loyer with a 27-yard TD run, and junior Rodly Dolce with 33-yard TD run.
Defensively, the Knights were led by senior captain James Ney Joseph, who totaled 8 tackles, 2 for a loss, 1 sack and a caused fumble. Fellow defensive linemen junior Chris Pierre and junior Christian Heyliger contributed with 5 tackles apiece in shutting out the Country Day Spartans.
