MIAMI- Fifty-five principals from Jesuit schools throughout the United States visited Belen Jesuit Preparatory School Nov. 15 as part of the JSEA (Jesuit Secondary Education Association) annual Principals Conference.
The theme for the visit was how Belen Jesuit was using educational technology, specifically the iPad. Principals had the opportunity to ask a student, faculty and administration panel questions and hear testimonials on how the 1:1 program was implemented and how it is being utilized.
It is a wonderful privilege for our school to welcome principals from across the country to Belen Jesuit, said Jesuit Father Pedro Suarez, president of Belen Jesuit. We are honored to be considered pioneers in the implementation of an iPad 1:1 program and are happy to share both the challenges and the successes we have had with other schools.
