MIAMI | On March 18, 2021, Immaculata-La Salle High School hosted a Tricky Tray event, turning its athletic field into a "basket extravaganza" to raise funds for a new athletic center and fine arts building.

A "tricky tray" event is a cross between an auction and a raffle, where participants purchase a number of tickets which they then use to "bid" on the items of their choice. They can use their tickets to try to win a single item or spread them among various items, keeping in mind that the more tickets they place on a single item increases their chances of winning it.

Tables and chairs were set up following CDC guidelines and all guests wore masks. Over 200 beautiful baskets created by ILS families were on display throughout the evening. Big ticket items raffled off included a 70-inch Gaming Flat Screen TV, a Pac-Man Arcade, Ninja Air Fryer/ Confection Oven, cameras and a designer clutch from Neiman Marcus. 250 guests dined on BBQ chicken and pulled pork as well as delicious desserts consisting of waffles and chocolate flourless cakes.
