Archdiocesan school closings due to Hurricane Irma

Miami� The Archdiocese of Miami has announced that all elementary and high schools in Miami-Dade and Broward counties will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 7, Friday, Sept. 8, Monday, Sept. 11 and Tuesday, Sept. 12,  due to Hurricane Irma.

The Basilica School of St. Mary Star of the Sea in Key West, which is the only archdiocesan school in Monroe County, closed Wednesday, Sept. 6 and will remain closed at least through Tuesday, Sept. 12.  

All St. Thomas University operations, classes, programs and events are cancelled effective Thursday, Sept. 7 through Monday, Sept. 11.  

All information about cancellation of classes, activities, lectures, Masses, workshops, and/or special events will be posted on www.miamiarch.org, and on social media on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
