St. Brendan Elementary School students celebrate their second straight win among large division schools in St. Brendan High School's Academic Olympics.
MIAMI | For the second year in a row, St. Brendan Elementary in Miami took the top prize at the Academic Olympics hosted by St. Brendan High School.
The winners were divided into two categories, large division schools and small division schools. St. Theresa School in Coral Gables placed second among large division schools, and Our Lady of Lourdes School in Miami placed third.
In the small division category, St. Hugh School in Coconut Grove earned the top prize, followed by St. John Neumann School in second place and Mother of Christ in third.
Students from 14 parish schools took part in this year's competition. The other participating schools were: St. Kevin, St. Timothy, St. Agatha, Sts. Peter and Paul, St. Thomas the Apostle, Good Shepherd, St. Michael and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary-St. Richard School, all in Miami; and Blessed Trinity, Miami Springs.
