MIAMI | The Belen Jesuit Jazz Band won Gold, Best in Class at Disney's High School Music Festival March 12. This is the highest prize awarded at the festival. Tenor saxophonist Ian Anderson also won best soloist at the festival.
"Well done, musicians! Congratulations to our Jazz Band, tenor sax, and everyone involved in the music program," said Maria Cristina Reyes-Garcia, school principal. "Let us thank God for the incredible talent being shared that is certainly leaving a mark in our school and abroad."
