Welcome home! Our holy mother Church is, as St. Paul says, part of that “plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God” (Eph 3:9) and, through her, “the manifold wisdom of God” (Eph 3:10) has been made manifest. She “is the visible plan of God's love for humanity,” because God desires “that the whole human race may become one People of God, form one Body of Christ, and be built up into one temple of the Holy Spirit” (CCC 776).
The OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) is an adventure of love for those who hear the Gospel, respond in faith, and embark on a journey of conversion that unfolds over a period of time through distinct stages of prayer, formation, and participation in the Christian community. This journey leads ultimately to the celebration and reception of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation. The OCIA process is marked by periods of evangelization, inquiry, catechesis, purification, enlightenment, and mystagogy, each intended to foster a deeper relationship with Christ and greater communion with his Church.
“Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all I have commanded of you; and behold, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” (Matthew 28: 19-20)

¡Bienvenidos a casa! Nuestra santa madre Iglesia es, como dice San Pablo, parte de ese “plan del misterio escondido desde los siglos en Dios” (Ef 3, 9) y, a través de ella, se ha manifestado “la multiforme sabiduría de Dios” (Ef 3, 10). Ella “es el plan visible del amor de Dios hacia la humanidad”, porque Dios desea “que todo el género humano llegue a ser un solo Pueblo de Dios, forme un solo Cuerpo de Cristo y sea edificado como un solo templo del Espíritu Santo” (Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica, 776).
El OICA (Orden de Iniciación Cristiana de Adultos) es una aventura de amor para quienes escuchan el Evangelio, responden con fe y emprenden un camino de conversión que se desarrolla a lo largo del tiempo mediante distintas etapas de oración, formación y participación en la comunidad cristiana. Este camino conduce, en última instancia, a la celebración y recepción de los sacramentos de la iniciación: Bautismo, Sagrada Eucaristía y Confirmación. El proceso del OICA se caracteriza por etapas de evangelización, búsqueda, catequesis, purificación, iluminación y mistagogía; cada una de ellas busca fomentar una relación más profunda con Cristo y una mayor comunión con su Iglesia.
