Thursday, Jan 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM - English

Archbishop John C. Favalora Archive & Museum at Saint Thomas University library cordially invites you to: Hugo Orezzoli's 'Portraits of Criollismo'

Opening reception Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at 11 a.m.

Criollismo is a set of customs and traditions specific to certain Latin American cultures. The mission of artist Hugo Orezzoli is to document, with the help of memories, imagination, and use of color, the characters and traditions that are slowly fading from the culture where he was raised, in Lima, Peru. The intention is to present images that characterize criollismo, and to tell a story through each one of the paintings.
