Magnificat of Broward, "Handmaids of the Lord," invites you to a breakfast with guest speaker Kathy Corona. It will be on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Arlis Banquet Hall located at 8062 W. McNab Road in North Lauderdale.
Tickets are $25 and include a hot breakfast. If you pay after February 3rd the tickets are $30. Please register by February 11, 2019. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Kathy Corona is wife to Ken, mother of 5 grown children and grandmother of 3.
She was born in Lansing, Michigan and moved to Chagrin Falls, Ohio when she was 8 years old. She was raised Catholic. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
Kathy lived in Strongsville, Ohio for 22 years and raised her children there. She went to a Life in the Spirit Seminar in 1997 and was baptized in the Holy Spirit! She was an active member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church there. She served on the Inner Healing Prayer Retreat Team, the Healing Prayer Teams, was a Parish School of Religion teacher, and a Eucharistic Minister.
She moved to Florida in 2009 and has been an active parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Coral Springs. She serves the SEAS community in many ways: as the founder and leader of the Healing Prayer Teams, a Eucharistic Minister, a lead for Women’s Emmaus ministry, and a Bible Study leader. She has worked in the banking industry for 28 years and is presently a Compliance Analyst for First Choice Loan Services.
In February 2014 she attended a Magnificat of Broward planning meeting. She is currently the secretary on the Service Team and prayer team member. She previously served as a greeter, and a hostess.
