Parkland proclaims a day for MHOC

PARKLAND | The city recently issued a proclamation honoring Mary Help of Christians School in honor of Catholic Schools Week.

The proclamation said that Catholic schools provide an "intellectually stimulating environment rich in spiritual character and moral development." It also acknowledged that the schools encourage diversity and develop leadership, "delivered in a safe and nurturing environment."

Fernandez thanked the mayor and vice mayor "for celebrating Catholic Schools Week and the many outstanding achievements of the teachers and students at Mary Help of Christians Catholic School."
