MIAMI | Sts. Peter and Paul School in Miami recently got a blessing in preparation for the new school year from the parish's new administrator, Father Luis Flores, and its also newly appointed — and newly ordained — parochial vicar, Father Enzo Rosario Prendes.
Father Flores took over June 12, 2022, from longtime pastor Father Juan Lopez, who retired that same day. Father Flores noted he was 11 years old when Father Lopez was assigned to Sts. Peter and Paul in 1988. Father Rosario Prendes began his ministry at Sts. Peter and Paul June 6.
So with almost everything so new, why not a new blessing? Father Flores decided. He is looking forward to personally welcoming students to the school starting at 7:15 a.m. on Aug. 17.
