South Florida Catholic artist Noris Capín created this image, which she entitled "The Golden Virgin with Jesus," for the Miami edition of the Florida Catholic and its sister newspaper, La Voz Católica. Capín was born in Cuba and arrived in the United States in 1969. In addition to her work as an artist, she has written two books and is a columnist for "En USA," a Spanish-language newspaper.
