CORAL GABLES | On Nov. 5, 2022, seventh-graders from St. Theresa School in Coral Gables, together with their families, spent the morning serving the homeless with the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa, who operate a shelter in Miami’s inner city.

Organized by Carmelite Sister Catherine Marie, the day of service began with Mass at Little Flower Church followed by a visit to the shelter. The volunteer team of more than two dozen helped to prepare and serve meals in the soup kitchen and cleaned the shelter – offering a big serving of hope for the disadvantaged.
