CORAL GABLES | On Oct. 1, students at St. Theresa School celebrated the feast day of the school's namesake, St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus.

Sixth graders hosted the mass in her honor and the entire school attended virtually or in-person.

All students participated in creative activities inspired by "The Little Flower" and her legacy of showing big love through small actions. In that spirit, students also wore pink (ties, bows and shirts) to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness month — something they will continue to do throughout October.

St. Theresa School students Carolina Alvarez, Olivia Rodriguez, and Isabella Heredia shared their talent at the Mass in honor of St. Therese by playing the bells in the choir. They are wearing pink to promote Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October.
