MIAMI | Wtih the pandemic still raging, Mother of Our Redeemer School found a socially distanced way to distribute ashes to students and faculty this Ash Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021.

The entire student body gathered outside for the Ash Wednesday service, led by Mother of Our Redeemer's pastor, Father Juan Hernandez. The ashes were imposed using the method recommended by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments: sprinkling them on people's heads rather than on their foreheads.
