MIAMI | Nine new archdiocesan school principals gathered at the archdiocesan Pastoral Center July 6, 2022, for a welcome gathering and commissioning hosted by staff from the Office of Catholic Schools.

During the day-long meeting, the principals attended Mass, where they received a gift from the schools office as well as a commissioning and blessing from Msgr. Dariusz Zielonka, archdiocesan chancellor for canonical affairs.

"I was sincerely impressed with the expertise, passion, and commitment of each of our new leaders," said Jim Rigg, secretary of education and superintendent of schools for the archdiocese.

Look for brief bios of the new principals in the back-to-school edition of the Florida Catholic, which will be out in parishes the weekend of Sept. 17-18.
