Great Vigil of the Sacred Hearts

The Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and May invited the community to celebrate the Great Vigil on the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The vigil will take place at St. Raphael’s Chapel on the grounds of St. John Vianney College Seminary, 290 S.W. 87 Ave., Miami. It will begin with a Mass Friday, June 23, at 8 p.m. and conclude with another Mass Saturday, June 24, at 6 a.m. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place throughout the night. Young adults night at the Marlins

Young adults are invited to join Archbishop Thomas Wenski and other special guests from throughout the archdiocese at the third annual young adult night at the Miami Marlins, Wednesday, June 28 at 7 p.m. The Marlins will play the N.Y. Fully Engaged training for priests, leaders

TheOffice of Marriage and Family Life will host the following orientation and training sessions for priests on the Fully Engaged pre-marital inventory. Lunch or dinner will be provided: Thursday, Aug. 3, 10 a.m. -1 p.m. or 6-9 p.m.

Deacons and their wives are invited to a training session Friday, Aug. 4, 4-6 p.m. Cost is $40/couple, including dinner. Mentor couples are invited to a training session Saturday, Aug. 5, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost is $60/couple, including lunch.

There will also be a “train the trainer” session for experienced mentor couples (in Fully Engaged or FOCCUS) who would like to become archdiocesan and parish trainers for new mentor couples. The session will take place Saturday, Aug. 5, 4-7 p.m. Cost is $50/couple which includes materials and dinner.

All the training sessions will take place at the archdiocesan Pastoral Center, 9401 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, 33138.
