La Oficina de Servicios para Refugiados y Migrantes de la Conferencia de Obispos Católicos de los Estados Unidos ha preparado el siguiente video el cual puede ofrecer asistencia para personas con un estatus inmigratorio precario.

Asistencia y mas recursos se pueden encontrar en los siguientes sitios Justice for Immigrants y Servicios Legales Católicos de la Arquidiócesis de Miami.

I found the video to, in many ways, tell illegal immigrants that they don't need to comply with the authorities. It wasn't until you mention immigrants who are here with proper papers to carry them with you. I find it sad that anyone in the US would encourage an illegal alien to not cooperate with ICE or any government/safety agent. Perhaps the video should encourage illegals to go down to the nearest gov't building and start the proper process to obtain the legal means to be in the US!!

Many types of warrants exist. Typically, DHS issues (and has the authority, under the Immigration and Nationality Act, to issue) civil arrest warrants to apprehend, interrogate and detain individuals. However, anytime a government agent seeks to physically enter a private dwelling, heightened constitutional protections exist; namely, the Fourth Amendment�s prohibition against unreasonable searches. Typically, entry into a person�s home requires a warrant signed by a judge who found probable cause to enter the dwelling. Please note that this is not meant as legal advice or a substitute for legal counsel in any way, but merely as speculative commentary on general legal principles.

When it comes to the warrant, there is a huge difference if the signer is an ICE officer or a judge. Someone at Catholic Charities Legal needs to make that distinction on this video and show examples of which to make things clear.
