Catholic schools offer programs to meet most children�s needs

MIAMI | Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Miami offer a plethora of programs aimed at meeting the educational needs of most students. Here’s a listing of the schools that offer each of the various programs.

 

Academies/special interest tracks

  • Archbishop Coleman Carroll High: Dual enrollment toward 2-year degree with Miami-Dade College (including day classes at its Kendall campus with transportation provided) as well as St. Thomas University (toward a degree or minor in Spanish)
  • Belen Jesuit Prep, Miami: Mandarin courses, student exchange with Taiwan; overseas study programs to Asia, Europe and Peru
  • Cardinal Gibbons High, Fort Lauderdale: Pre-engineering, Pre-medicine, Pre-law, Pre-business
  • Immaculata-La Salle High, Miami: STEAM (concentration in Engineering, Computer Science, Health Science, Digital Arts, and Global Business Leadership), partnership with Mercy Hospital
  • Msgr. Edward Pace High, Miami Gardens: Signature Academies focusing on Law Studies, Mass Communications, STEM, Visual and Performing Arts
  • Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, Miami: electives in Broadcast Journalism, Sports Medicine, Law Studies, Business; Miami Herald’s Best Female Athletic Program in Miami-Dade County
