Middle School Science Teacher

St. Agnes Academy in Key Biscayne, Florida and has an opening for a full-time Middle School Science Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Earth Science, Biology, and Physical Science. This person must be supportive and respectful of the mission, vision, and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church and performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science; Master’s degree in Science preferred.
- Florida Department of Education certification in science, grades 6-12 or grade 5-9.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate the technology skills needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Must be fully committed, respectful, and supportive of the mission and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School.
- Must have a professional and pleasant, service-oriented demeanor.
