Elementary Campus Minister

St. Theresa Catholic School in Coral Gables, Florida has an opening for a dynamic and qualified Elementary Campus Minister for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The Campus Minister will be responsible for overseeing the spiritual environment of the school as well as assisting the DRE for the Sacramental preparation for First Confession, First Communion and Confirmation. S/he will also be responsible for the Virtus for Children program, catechetical certification for the teachers, and various retreats for the faculty and students. The Campus Minister will work with his/her Religion Department for the above activities, have ongoing development for teachers/parents and staff, and evaluate the Religion Curriculum on a yearly basis. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami and St. Theresa School.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Education or related field required.
- Master’s degree in education, theology, or catechetical certified equivalent, preferred.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to work as a team member with a variety of students, parents and staff.
- Strong presentation skills with Apple and other interactive technologies used with digital books with the ability to integrate technology into the subjects.
- Proficiency in MS and Google apps.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
