Primary Teacher

St. Theresa Catholic School in Coral Gables, Florida has an opening for a dynamic and qualified Primary Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year to teach PreK- Grade 3 students. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami and St. Theresa School. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Education preferred.
- Florida Department of Education certificate in Primary Education (Grades K-6), temporary or professional, required.
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to work as a team member with a variety of students, parents and staff.
- Able to integrate Catholic worldview with the subjects.
- Strong presentation skills with Apple and other interactive technologies used with digital books with the ability to integrate technology into the subjects.
- Proficiency in MS and Google apps.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
