Middle School Math and Science Teacher

St. Ambrose Catholic School in Deerfield Beach, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and experienced full-time Middle School Math and Science Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school mathematics and science for grades 6-8. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, or Education required.
- Florida Department of Education Teacher Certificate in related field, Math or Science; temporary or professional required.
- Must be knowledgeable in all levels of middle school math and science.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent classroom management and program organizational skills and excellent attendance ethics.
- Proficiency in using digital books and interactive classroom technology such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and digital gradebooks.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Knowledge of tenets of Catholic Church and parish structures.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
