Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School in Miami Lakes, Florida has an opening for a qualified Grade 2 Teacher for the upcoming 2026- 27 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for 2nd Grade students. This Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on years of service and certification.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Education.
- FDOE Teaching certificate in Primary or Elementary Education, temporary or professional required; but considered with a Statement of Eligibility.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Strong and concise oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
