Aftercare Toddler Assistant

St. Patrick Catholic Preschool in Miami Beach, Florida is seeking a part-time Aftercare Toddler Assistant for the current school year. This employee will be expected to help the lead teacher to plan for, teach, supervise, and assess toddlers aged 12 months- 30 months. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in early childhood or similar field.
- CDA (Child Development Associate) certification preferred.
- DCF Child Care 40 hours Training preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience required.
- CPR course, and First Aide.
- Strength in creating a warm, welcoming environment for students and families.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Must be of good moral character and supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
