St. Theresa Catholic School in Coral Gables, Florida has an opening for a Full-Time Teacher Aide for the coming 2025-26 school year, to assist at the Elementary level. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, and work collaboratively as part of a team. The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami and St. Theresa Catholic School. Salary will vary based on education and years of service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or associated degree.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to assist the teacher with small groups yard duty, and other duties.
- Apple and technology skills needed for digital books and interactive classroom technology.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Proficiency in Google apps.
- Ability to work as a team member with a variety of students, parents, and staff.
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
