Campus Minister/ 2nd Grade Religion Teacher

St. Theresa Catholic School, in Coral Gables, Florida, is hiring for a dynamic and qualified Campus Minister/ 2nd Grade Religion Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. As Campus Minister, s/he will be responsible for overseeing the spiritual environment of the school as well as assisting the DRE for the Sacramental preparation for First Confession, First Communion and Confirmation. The candidate will also be responsible for the Virtus for Children program, catechetical certification for the teachers, and various retreats for the faculty and students. S/he will work with his/her Religion Department for the above activities, have ongoing development for teachers/parents and staff, and evaluate the Religion Curriculum on a yearly basis. The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Archdiocese of Miami and St Theresa Catholic School.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in education required.
- Master’s degree in Education, Theology or equivalent.
- Catechetical Certification.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to integrate a Catholic worldview with the subjects.
- Ability to work as a team member, including with a variety of students, parents and staff.
- Apple and technology skills for digital books and interactive classroom technology.
- Ability to integrate technology into the subjects.
- Proficiency in MS and Google apps.
