St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and School in Miami, Florida is seeking to hire a Director of Marketing and Communications. The primary responsibility of the Director is to design, develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy for both the parish and school; manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition; and promote alumni participation. The Director of Marketing and Communications reports to the school principal and performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations, or related subject.
- Three to five years of successful experience in marketing.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Good computer literacy, including ability to navigate online applications, online social media outlets, and search engines effectively.
- Excellent verbal, editing, and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to assimilate and communicate information verbally in print and online.
- Supportive of the mission, vision, and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church, and the mission of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and School.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
