El programa de Retrouvaille es un Ministerio de parejas voluntarias que te van a ayudar y te van a enseñar las herramientas de comunicación saludable, a construir una mejor intimidad, como perdonar y sanar, tal como ellos lo hicieron en sus propios matrimonios.

Camino del Matrimonio May 18-19 English (PreCana)

Camino is a Catholic Marriage Preparation Program offered by the Archdiocese of Miami for couple preparing to receive the sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Thousands of couples have attended our two day program during the last 47 years. 

This weekend experience helps couples have a happier and healthier marriage both practically and spiritually. Speakers give presentations related to ways couples can improve their marriage.

Camino is offered every month at (SEPI) Southeast Pastoral Institute.

All are invited to participate, cost is $125 per couple and this includes your lunches snacks and workbooks.

As an added bonus, parents, in-laws and family members are invited on Sunday at 2 p.m. for a special presentation on how they can also help in your marriage. (This is held on the same weekend, same address and same building.)

Recommended time to take this retreat is 6-8 months before the wedding so you can learn and practice these new techniques before your wedding. Also, if the retreat is taken two or three months before the wedding you may run the risk of this retreat being full.

Getting prepared in advance gives you time to enjoy this beautiful preparation process for your big day when you make this special promise at the altar.

Retiro Emaus de Hombres #5 - San Bernardo

El retiro comienza el viernes, 17 de mayo, a las 7 p.m., hasta el domingo, 19 de mayo; termina con la Santa Misa a las 3 p.m.

El retiro está basado en un pasaje de la Escritura, Lucas 24: 13-35, donde Jesús se aparece a dos de los discípulos que iban en el camino a Emaús después de su Resurrección. Este retiro ofrece la oportunidad de tener un crecimiento espiritual muy personal, al descubrir una nueva forma de relación con Dios y con nuestros semejantes. Te concede tiempo para reflexionar y espacio para acercarte a Jesús en tu búsqueda, encontrarte con “Él” y descubrir que verdaderamente está vivo y resucitado. Te ayuda a dirigir tu vida en un camino positivo y esperanzado.

Que Dios le bendiga, le llene de su amor, de su paz, y que su gracia le ayude a decidir su participación, lo que estamos seguros le brindará una mejor forma de vivir en su verdad y en su justicia!

St. John Bosco Clinic seeks volunteers

If you have an interest in service to others, especially through supporting access to healthcare, St. John Bosco Clinic invites you to call us and see if we are a good match. We are looking for volunteers for the following duties:

Patient Registration: This position will be responsible to interview new patients and complete eligibility applications with primarily Spanish-speaking patients.

  • Position open Mondays, 12:30–4 p.m.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail. 

Telephone/Reception: This position will be responsible to answer telephones and be able to communicate with a primarily Spanish-speaking call volume.

  • Various positions are open Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Good communication skills.

Office Support – this position will primarily work with clinic staff in obtaining reports for the healthcare providers, doing computer work and assisting with other non-direct patient related support services.

  • Various positions open Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Good knowledge of computer work
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Ability to fluently communicate in Spanish is highly benefitial as most patients are primary Spanish speakers.

St. John Bosco Clinic is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine, Florida. Established in 1992, we aim to be an enduring presence providing care as long as there are underserved children and adults without access to healthcare. 

The strength of a free clinic lies in its volunteer support. Volunteers help strengthen the safety-net that cares for our community. Those served at St. John Bosco Clinic have different life stories, faces and nationalities. They are the young, old, working poor and the unemployed, but they share one very similar need: the need for healthcare and difficulty meeting that need for themselves and their families. The St. John Bosco Clinic is a safety-net for these families.

St. David YAM Meeting
