Catholic Days at the Capitol

Next date: Dec 31, 1969 - click here for time schedule - English

It's time to register for Catholic Days at the Capitol, the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops' annual event that gathers Catholics from around the state to learn about the legislative process, advocate for policies that promote human life and dignity, and pray for our elected leaders. Making the trip to Tallahassee this February will put your faith and civic responsibility into action.

2024 CDAC activities include:

  • A legislative briefing on policy issues affecting human life and dignity
  • Pre-scheduled meetings with lawmakers
  • An awards breakfast for Catholic Days participants, Florida's bishops and legislators
  • Group photo of each diocesan delegation with its bishop
  • The opportunity to view the legislative process in action
  • The 49th annual Red Mass of the Holy Spirit concelebrated by the bishops of Florida at the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More. The Mass is offered for those working in the legislative, judicial and executive branches of government.

We hope you can join us! Registration with your diocese is required. Please contact your local coordinator for more information:
