PLANTATION | Like most other archdiocesan schools, St. Gregory conducted a food drive for Thanksgiving.
Spearheaded by the fourth-grade class, this year's food drive benefited The Pantry of Broward. Aside from the food items collected – numbers organizers can't even estimate – the drive collected more than $2,000 worth of gift cards for families in need of food in the coming weeks.
"We are absolutely blown away by the donations (food/gift cards) that you had donated," wrote the Pantry's Jerre Taylor-Feeney to Carla Landron, St. Gregory's director of Development. "Your donation is going to feed so many people and we cannot be more thankful."
The Pantry also "blasted out" their thanks on social media.
