MIAMI | St. Brendan Elementary is celebrating this month having won multiple medals in two academic Olympics. On October 8, one of their students, Giselle Mendoza, won first place in Spanish at the Archbishop Coleman Caroll High School Academic Olympics.
On Wednesday, October 16, another eight of their students along with Giselle won various medals at the Christopher Columbus Olympics. The students won in a variety of categories including religion, science, Spanish, English, mathematics and art.
