Early Childhood Education Teacher Assistant

St. Agatha Catholic School, located near the FIU Sweetwater Campus in Miami, has an immediate opening for an Early Childhood Education Teacher Assistant for the 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be a nurturing and dedicated professional with the ability to collaborate with the Early Education Teacher. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience working in an early education classroom preferred.
- Department of Children & Families (DCF) certification completed including 40 hours childcare training and all competency exams preferred.
- Current CPR Training.
- Strength in creating a warm, welcoming environment for students and families.
- Ability to collaborate with teacher in encouraging students to discover and learn about the world through hands on learning.
- Proficiency in computer skills including MS Outlook, Word and instructional technologies preferred.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Must be of good moral character and supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
