Art & Spanish Teacher

Holy Family Catholic School in North Miami, Florida is looking for an Art and Spanish Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This individual must be a professional, committed teacher who will plan, organize, and implement the Art and Spanish curricula. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Spanish, Education or related field.
- FDOE Teaching Certificate, temporary or professional required.
- One (1) year minimum teaching experience.
- Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese Office of Catechesis, within three years of hire.
- Able to collaborate in a professional learning community to develop, implement, and improve curriculum and instruction to promote student achievement.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
- Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of the basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
