Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Miami, Florida has an opening for a qualified and full-time Elementary Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Elementary level students. This teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Education.
- FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, temporary or professional required.
- Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese Office of Catechesis, within three years of hire.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
