All Saints Catholic School in Sunrise (Broward County), Florida has an opening for two qualified and dynamic full-time Teacher Assistants for the 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, and work collaboratively as part of a team. The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on education and years of experience.
Schedule: 2:30 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. Monday- Friday.
Qualifications:
- GED or High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two years of classroom experience required.
- Department of Children & Families 40 hour Training Certification. (if not, must be willing to obtain completion within the first year of employment).
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to assist the teacher with leading small groups, yard duty, and other duties pertaining to a teacher assistant.
- Ability to work as a team member with a variety of students, parents, and staff.
- Excellent presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Proficiency in Google apps.
- Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
