Afterschool Care Assistant

All Saints Catholic School in Sunrise, Florida has an opening for a dependable Part- time Afterschool Care Assistant for the 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to oversee students between ages of 5 and 14 and plan activities. S/he will supervise outdoor and indoor play and homework times, as well as monitor and enforce the Aftercare rules and expectations. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Schedule: 2:30 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. Monday- Friday.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Department of Children and Family 40-hour training and certification preferred; if candidate does not possess have training, must be willing to obtain its completion within the first year of employment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Ability to work outside in warm weather conditions.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of the basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
