Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic School, located in Miami Florida, is hiring for a 12-month Registrar/ESE Coordinator. The role includes managing student records and generating required reports as part of registrar duties, serving as the school coordinator for programs such as ELC VPK, School Readiness, and Step Up For Students. The candidate is also tasked with fulfilling the responsibilities of the school’s ESE (Exceptional Student Education) Coordinator by overseeing compliance for mandated student services, ensuring all referrals are submitted accurately and on time, maintaining detailed documentation and service logs for students receiving ESE services including accommodation plans and counseling tracking and acting as the liaison for ESE support while coordinating with specialized programs. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Schedule: Monday -Friday, 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
- High School or GED: Required
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, special education, or related field.
- FDOE Certification in Exceptional Student Education in grades K-12, professional preferred.
- Five years of related experience with teaching students with varying cognitive / developmental exceptionalities or disabilities, with proficiency in effective strategies, or in managing student information systems and records, preferred.
- Must be a team player and highly organized.
- Proficiency in MS Suite (including Excel), and Student Information Systems.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
