Middle School Religion Teacher

Epiphany Catholic School in Miami, Florida is looking for a full-time Middle School Religion Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The candidate should be professional, disciplined, and a team player. The teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate Religion instructional program for grades 7-8. The Middle School Religion Teacher also performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on education and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Theology.
- Current Catechist Certification is preferred but may be in the process of obtaining certification.
- Excellent classroom management skills with demonstrated ability to engage students and experience in teaching Religion in a Catholic environment.
- Strong presentation skills and knowledge of instructional technologies.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Fully committed, supportive, and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; Knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing who fully adheres to and models Catholic Church teachings in faith and morals.
- Exemplifies professionalism in behavior and performance, including the dress code.
