Hall Monitor

Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School located in Southwest Ranches, Florida (Broward County) is currently looking to hire a qualified and reliable, full-time Hall Monitor to help maintain a safe and orderly campus environment. All duties must be performed in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising students and visitors throughout campus.
- Monitoring hallways, restrooms, parking areas, lunchroom, and common spaces.
- Ensuring student, visitor, and staff safety.
- Enforcing the school's mission/vision and rules.
- Assisting with class transitions and lunch periods.
- Reporting safety concerns or disciplinary issues to supervisor and/or administration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must provide at time of resume, a copy of your high school diploma/equivalent.
- Must be fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission, teachings and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Strong communication - excellent oral and written English-language communication skills.
- Ability to remain alert and proactive.
- Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
