St. Gregory the Great Catholic School in Plantation, Florida has an opening for a full-time Elementary Teacher Assistant for the 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and lead small group lessons. The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the vision, mission, and values of the Roman Catholic Church.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Associate degree (or equivalent), in education or related subject.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies, especially online communication technologies.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
