Elementary / Middle School STREAM Teacher

St. Coleman Catholic School in Pompano Beach, Florida is looking for a creative, technologically savvy full-time STREAM Teacher who can teach Elementary and Middle School for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The teacher has the responsibility to incorporate hands-on and problem-solving activities that prepare students to be inquisitive, productive, and team members able to solve multi-dimensional problems. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of certification.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, or related field.
- Minimum one year experience in STEM/STREAM curriculum and instruction.
- FDOE Teaching certification in K-8, temporary or professional required.
- Experience working with educational software / hardware such as iPads and with computer software installation and configuration.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
- Effective oral and written English language skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Demonstrate good moral character and be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
