Spanish Teacher

St. Brendan High School in Miami, Florida is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced full-time High School Spanish Teacher. The teacher is expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for High School Spanish. The Spanish teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Spanish or related field.
- Florida Department of Education Certification in World Language: Spanish K-12, preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience, preferred.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Must be able to speak and write in Spanish with proficiency.
- Must demonstrate the ability to effectively integrate technology into all aspects of instruction, including planning, delivery, assessment and communication.
- Must have clear and professional communication with students and parents.
- Good oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Must have a professional demeanor .
- Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
