Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School in Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida has an opening for a full-time Theology Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school Theology, and demonstrate understanding of Scripture, the pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Catholic Traditions, Catholic Social teachings, and the tasks of catechesis. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with education and years of service.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Theology.
- One year experience in teaching at a high school level required.
- Ability to demonstrate the technology skills needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Must be fully committed, respectful, and supportive of the mission and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Must have a professional and pleasant, service-oriented demeanor.
